Cancelled Annual Float Trip - Cancelled

Due to the increased chance of rain and lightning for Friday & Saturday, this event has been cancelled. There is also an increased chance the river may be high with all the current rain, and it is not safe to float. We are cancelling the group event.

• There is another event that the group has planned for Saturday night. Dance at the Elks Lodge. Please go to the meetup website to see the details and sign up for the event by Friday at Noon.

We regret this cancellation. Have a great weekend!

• Bring CASH to pay for the float and $3 for the dinner. Lazy Days does not accept credit or debit cards.
• Please go to their website to review pricing on Floating and Cabin / Camping Rates. You can reserve your choice of Raft, Kayak or Canoe via their website or call them.
• Book the Elk River 7.5-mile Float Trip.

Come for just Friday dinner, The float trip, Saturday dinner your choice or the whole weekend. I have rented Cabin #11 for the whole weekend. This will be our "base of operation" for the event.

Arrive at Lazy Days
Dinner: Whatever you want to eat and maybe something to share.
Game Night: I will bring table games for us to play or you can sit around and socialize. Please bring a game to play if you wish.

Saturday 06/07
Bathrooms & Showers at Lazy Days
9:30 AM: Go to the office and sign waiver.
10:00 AM: We will start the float Trip
Bring a lunch & beverages for the float trip
@4:00 PM - Arrive back at Lazy Days
When we get back we will eat dinner.
· I will bring hot dogs & brats with all the fixings. I will also bring plates, cups, utensils and napkins.
· I would ask that anyone eating dinner bring exactly $3 to help with the cost of the above items. I will not have change. Homemade desserts for Darryl will gladly be accecpted.
· Please bring a side dish / item to share with the group. Please list what side item / dish you are bringing in the comment section. Your response will also be used to detmine how many Brats and Hot Dogs to buy. Deadline for this is Wed. 07/04. Don't forget the homdmade desserts for Darryl.
You can stay after dinner to socialize or play table games. Bring a game to play if you want to. Darryl does not share homemade desserts with others, well!

Notes:

• Cash only for payment for the float.
• Alcohol allowed at the campsite & on the river/ No Glass bottles!!! Darryl really like Homemade desserts.
• I have rented Cabin #11 which is Air-Conditioned.
• No Pets
• No Rapids on this river. Very Easy to navigate.
• Bring -Lawn Chair, Homemade dessert for Darryl, Sunscreen, Water, Towel, Sunglasses, Lawn Chair, dry bag for the float.
• If you are wanting to be in a raft with others instead of a Canoe or Kayak, please list you desire to be in a raft in the comment section. A week or so before the float I will post a final comment for those who want to be in a raft to reply.
• You may also contact each other a get a group together to rent a raft. You do not have to wait.
• Suggestion: For a 6 or 8 person raft always subtract 2 from how many will be in the raft. The rafts are not as big as them seem, If you rent a 8 person raft, only have 6 people in it. This will allow room for ice chest, back pack and your Dry Bag with your stuff in it. Cost for 6 people to rent a 8 person or 4 people to rent a 6 person raft is only $40.
