Pickleball Changes (Thurs 3-6). Now @ Branchwood Rec Ctr in Bella Vista at 6 pm.

With Winds a factor (10-20+ mph) , 3 change were made -
1) move to indoors 2) time to 6pm 3) location now in Bella Vista at Branchwood Rec Ctr.
NOTE: Branchwood Rec. Ctr. has indoor racquetball courts ,that convert to pickleball courts. Also moved because all the players that signed up, live in Bella Vista.
Note: There may be a $5 charge to play for NON- Bella vista Residents
Room for 4 more players (There is another Racquetball court, if not reserved, we can use as well. Or alternate)
Participating in this or other event is at you own risk, as you are responsible for your own safety
For SAFETY Reasons: YOU SHOULD ONLY BE WEARING COURT TYPE SHOES (Shoes designed for Tennis, Volleyball, Badminton etc.) All other shoes can cause injury, especially when you are side stepping.
Also when playing pickleball, you understand you are responsible for your own safely on the court. DO NOT overextend yourself to trying to get to a ball. It is not worth the injury.
LOCATION this week: Pickleball 1 at Creekside Park in Bentonville.
With doing alternate Locations on Thursday evening see time differences.
Pickleball 1: 4:30 pm when at Creekside Park in Bentonville
Pickleball 2: 5:30 pm when at Branchwood Rec. Ctr, in Bella Vista
Note: When playing in Bella Vista, we will be joining Rosemary's Beginner-Intermediate Group, so lots of players if we have odd number of players.

Beginners are welcome. Come and learn the fastest growing sport for seniors (and everyone else for that matter.) When beginners begin to be proficient in being able to play the game of pickleball, they with be rotated in to playing with the more advanced players.
FORMAT: Pickleball players, of like ability, will play one another to start.
If we have an odd number of players, beginners with work with more advanced players (or play with others beginners) and do various drills to develop the skills and shots necessary, before being rotating in to play a regular pickleball game.
Meet at the tables and chairs in front of the courts .... or on the courts
WHAT TO BRING:
Pickleball Paddles (if you have one or I have 4 extra ones). If you need a paddle, answer the Question with a YES
Sunscreen
Water for hydration.
Snack to share.
