What we’re about
Hey! My name's Criston and I've been a songwriter since I was 13. I've been wanting to make some friends who are also into songwriting and wanting to foster the creativity of others as well. As songwriters, we need good, constructive feedback in a safe environment to keep growing. A space where we can share our songs and bring the best out of each song together! It'd be fun to share the songs we have, but also to create prompts where we can agree on a subject or genre and each write a song to come back and share with the group. I'm also an audio engineer, so it would be fun to do some recording when we feel like we get a good one! Each person's song is their own creative work, so we wouldn't be co-writing unless it was explicitly agreed to by each artist involved and I would make sure that everyone's work is protected if you're worried about people copying your ideas. We could each sign a waiver to protect our work so we don't run into any problems there. Music is such a gift, lets build a community around it! We can meet at my house in Springdale in my music room. I have several acoustic guitars, electric guitars, mics, a mandolin, a great piano, a bass, amps, a drum set, and a PA system. Any and all musicians are welcome!
