About us
Our group focuses on Social Activities. It can be just about anything from just having coffee and a nice discussion to kayaking. During the warmer months, most activities are outdoors but there are no rules. You don't have to be over 50 - we just don't do a lot of clubbing or extreme sports or things those younger people do - although it sounds like fun.
I am Dianna and the group organizer. A lot of the meetups are based on my interests and my free time - so evenings and weekends mostly. You will notice that I mostly host Board Games, Kayaking, walking - mostly with my 2 dogs, and playing pickleball. Most events are in NW Chicago but not limited to that. Many events are free, If not free, the description will usually spell out any costs.
Our other, Diane (notice it is spelled differently) likes to host nature walks, bowling and other events.
We are always looking for others to host events. It is very easy - pick an activity, date, time and place and post it. Then show up. If you are interested in hosting an event, contact Dianna (me) and I will set it up so you can host.
What is not allowed is selling or marketing your product or services to our group. No MLM parties, no you cannot email everyone about your great anti-aging products, or any other products. Do not contact me and try to convince me that you have a great deal for our group.
