Everyone enjoys a picnic. I have reserved the pavilion at Irene Hernandez Picnic Grove 1. Foster bus stops right in front and there is parking.
It is an afternoon of meeting new people, good food and enjoying the outdoors.
Everyone is asked to provide a dish to share, think about 20-25 servings. I will provide plates, cups, utensils, napkins, condiments, etc.
The week before the picnic, please comment as to what you will be bringing so we can get a nice variety.
We will have volleyball, bocce ball and some other games to play.
Everyone is welcome. Bring friends and family. There are plenty of picnic tables but may be nice to bring a chair or blanket to enjoy the grass.
MORE info to follow as we get closer to the date. I just wanted to post early so everyone can plan.
PARKING - there is a parking lot that sometimes fills up - there is additional parking on the nearby streets. Try to carpool as much as possible. Also, the Foster Bus will drop you off right at the picnic grove. There is a bike/hike path, so maybe ride over.
