What is NW Pugs? We are a community of Pug-Loving People who bring their furry kids to snort, run, and play on the eastside of Seattle.
We are a pug/pug mix group that meets once a month and more in the summer. NW Pugs! has been around since June 2006. Your pug/pug mix will love frolicking around with their friends in a safe, fun environment.
During the warm summer months we gather for "Pugs in the Park" meetups. We also branch out to include shelter benefit walks, pubs, Boba Tea's Gotcha Day party at a bubble tea shop and other fun stuff to do with our pugs!
Since June 2006, we have had a total of 390 meetups.

I decided to continue the group in Memory of Luci Lu, who inspired me to start NW Pugs! back in May 2006.
My Luci Lu 11.26.04 - 10.11.2021 she was 1 month away from being 17. RIP my wild girl.
On June 12, 2022, my Zoe Zo joined Luci Lu over the rainbow bridge, 2 months shy of 15. She was the true definition of a pug, a sweet, loyal, and well-behaved little girl.

June 2025 Update on meetup.com issues. If you are using the app, meetup recommends taking the app off your phone and installing it again. It is best to check the website for invites and reminders. I was thinking of moving to another platform but I have had the group on meetup for 19+ years and plan on keeping it here for now. Too many memories to lose if I left meetup.

A quick reminder that all pugs and dogs who attend need to be friendly. This is for the safety of pugs, dogs and people. Any pug or dog that shows aggressive behavior will be asked to leave the party.
