Hello from the Greater Portland & Southwest Washington Area!

Welcome! Our group is a safe, friendly, and inclusive community where women can connect, build genuine friendships, share new experiences, and have fun together.
We are primarily a 50+ lesbian and bisexual women’s social group, welcoming both singles and couples. If you identify as a woman, you are welcome here. While our group is centered around lesbian and bisexual women, we also welcome straight women allies and women under 50 who enjoy spending time with a fun group of seasoned women!

If you’re looking for a more personal social experience where you can meet people, make lasting friendships, laugh, explore, and enjoy new adventures, you may have found your group.
A quick note about dating: We are a social and friendship group—not a dating site or singles group. If your primary purpose for joining is to find dates or romantic partners, we ask that you seek out spaces designed for dating.
Of course, sometimes friendships naturally develop into something more, and if two members make a love connection, that’s wonderful! We simply ask that everyone respect the purpose of our group and, most importantly, respect one another’s boundaries. No means no. Unwanted or repeated romantic attention is not appropriate.
We want everyone to feel comfortable attending an event, relaxing, making friends, and enjoying themselves without the pressure of a dating environment.

There’s Always Something to Do!

We love games—board games, cards, dice, Mahjong, and just about anything someone wants to teach us. We’re always up for learning something new!

When the Pacific Northwest weather cooperates, we love getting outdoors for hiking, biking, walking, kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding (SUP), camping, and other adventures. When the weather sends us indoors, you might find us bowling, playing billiards, enjoying mini-golf, attending a show, catching a movie, dining out, or gathering for an afternoon of games.
Our calendar includes both recurring favorites and one-time adventures throughout the year. Activities may include:

Have an Idea? We’d Love to Hear It!

Some of our best events begin with a member asking, “Would anyone like to…?”
We welcome ideas for everything from coffee and casual get-togethers to games, outdoor adventures, day trips, and special events.
We also encourage members to consider hosting. You don’t have to do it alone—our organizers are here to support you. The more members who are willing to host, the more activities and locations we can offer throughout the Greater Portland and Southwest Washington area.

Event Sign-Ups & Waitlists

Many of our events fill quickly, but don’t hesitate to join a waitlist! Plans change and spaces often become available.
We simply ask that you keep your RSVP current. If your plans change, please update your response so another member has the opportunity to attend.

Helping Support Our Meetup Community

Our Meetup fees are currently $179 every six months, so we may request voluntary donations at events to help cover the cost of maintaining the group.
If donations exceed our Meetup fees, additional funds may be used for group-related expenses such as picnic or potluck food, paper goods, supplies, and other items that benefit our gatherings.
Our goal is not to make a profit. Contributions simply help us keep the group active, affordable, and enjoyable while reducing the out-of-pocket costs of maintaining and hosting our community.

Respect, Kindness & Community

The heart of our group is simple: treat one another with respect, maturity, kindness, and consideration.
Bullying, harassment, intimidation, unwanted romantic or personal attention, or deliberately unkind behavior will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the group.
Everyone has the right to set personal boundaries. If someone declines an invitation, romantic interest, physical contact, or other interaction, please respect their answer. No means no, and no explanation is required.
If you experience or witness concerning behavior, please reach out privately to Monica, Michelle, Denise, or Linda. We will listen and address concerns thoughtfully, respectfully, and as fairly as possible while keeping the well-being of our members in mind.

Staying Active in the Community

We want to maintain an active and engaged membership, so members who have not accessed the group site or attended an event for six months or longer may be removed during periodic membership maintenance.
Members removed for inactivity are welcome to request to rejoin after Meetup’s 30-day waiting period by following our regular admission process.
This is not personal—it simply helps us maintain an active group of members who want to participate and stay connected.
