Winter 2012 Meetup @ numberFire / Projective Space

Join your fellow alumni for our Winter NY / CMU Tech Meetup.

Come check out the Projective Space coworking space in the Lower East Side while talking NY / CMU tech over beer, wine and snacks.

The event is limited to 50 people, so please RSVP quickly.  Note, the entrance fee goes toward operating the meetup, providing refreshments, etc.

Thanks to numberFire (, a local NY startup, and Projective Space (, a community-centered coworking space, for hosting us.  About the hosts...

numberfire is the next generation sports analytics company.  We convey data-driven content that projects player and team performance in creatively engineered products. Since our founding in early 2011, we have worked with ESPN, SI, SB Nation, SLAM Magazine, and Bleacher Report, and we've built a 20,000 registered member user base.

We are currently building a $100,000 Grand Prize March Madness bracket challenge on top of our NCAA Basketball predictions. In addition to entering the Grand Prize challenge, you can start and manage all your bracket pools by going to after Selection Sunday on March 11th.

Projective Space is home to a carefully curated mix of NYC based startups, united in a partnership held together by a few key principles.

 * Coworking communities represent an opportunity to leverage human potential and creativity across industries to drive innovation.

 * Good design can change the world.  Aesthetic considerations and interface decisions change the way people think, feel and interact.

 * If you’ve got to sprint, do it with people who make you smile.

This vision, along with the love of a really good happy hour, has now taken root in two Projective locations in downtown NYC.  If you are interested in a Projective membership, please submit an application.
