Speaker Series Partner Event: Katie Hunt-Morr from Virgin Unite

Join NYCSR and All Good Work for a speaker-series event, where we'll be welcoming Katie Hunt-Morr who is the Director of Community for Virgin Unite (https://www.virgin.com/unite/). Virgin Unite is the foundation associated with Virgin Airlines and its founder, Richard Branson, the mission of which is to unite people and entrepreneurial ideas to create opportunities for a better world. Katie will be talking about initiatives of the Virgin Unite foundation, especially as it relates to hurricane relief efforts in the Caribbean and how the work they're doing in the British Virgin Islands might provide a model of sustainable recovery in other ares, including Puerto Rico. Katie will also talk about the upcoming Constellation project which provides solutions to major problems by redefining philanthropy and how its delivered.

Katie Hunt-Morr is also the Director of Operations for Jiamini (http://jiamini.org/), an organization that protects at-risk students in Tanzania. Prior to working for Virgin Unite, Katie worked as the Senior Manager for Values and Impact at Etsy (http://etsy.com/).
