March 2014 NY Enterprise Technology Meetup

  • Mar 12, 2014 · 6:45 PM

Join fellow technologists, entrepreneurs, and investors for the NY Enterprise Technology Meetup's (NYETM) March meetup on Wednesday 3/12/14 from 6:45pm-9:00pm!

In honor of St. Patrick's Day, for our March meetup we have some exciting enterprise companies visiting from Ireland to demo their technologies, including:

• Keelvar Keelvar offers innovative procurement optimization software. Using clever algorithms Keelvar helps those procuring goods and services to obtain more efficient outcomes with typical savings in the region of 10% - 20% achievable.  By collecting more expressive information from suppliers about cost synergies, Keelvar leverages mathematical optimisation techniques to find the lowest cost outcome.  Keelvar’s technology originated from research at the 4C (Cork Constraint Computation Centre) Artificial Intelligence laboratory at University College Cork, Ireland. The lab has the world’s largest concentration of experts in the field of constraint programming.

• Corvil - Corvil provides Operational Performance Monitoring (OPM) for IT. The Corvil platform extracts real-time operational intelligence from wire data and uses this intelligence to analyse the performance of IT applications and services, detect and alert on events in real-time and export enriched data for business intelligence and risk management analysis. Customers use Corvil to optimise and safeguard the operational performance of their business processes and services. The Corvil platform uniquely handles the demands of high-performance, low-latency and data intensive IT environments. The company was founded in 2000 and operates from New York, London, Singapore, Tokyo and Dublin.

• Compendia - Compendia was founded to create a new generation of software that fulfills the needs of the modern mobile enabled business.  Compendia took a bottom up approach to the problem of app clutter, building on a best in class secure platform for storage. App clutter is eliminated by taking individual best of breed business apps and integrating them into a single highly secure and collaborative app. So if you require Spreadsheets, Documents, PDF Annotation, Notes, Presentation, File Management, Collaboration, integration to existing Windows IT infrastructure, there is ONE App for all of that, Compendia.

Amplience - Amplience is a Rich Adaptive Media Platform (RAMP) that simplifies the production and distribution of engaging, interactive campaign and product media.  The result is an agency quality experience at 10% of the cost.  SaaS based and highly scalable, Amplience enables non-technical marketing, brand and retail teams to rapidly create compelling digital campaign media, that increases customer engagement, drives conversions and AOV and works beautifully across all channels and devices, delivering true multi-channel campaigns from one integrated platform.
