Hi hardwarians,
We’ve got another meetup with some incredible presenters. We've got the head of hardware at Citibike, as well as the cofounders of The light Phone and Sunhouse. Bikes, phones and novel drumming, what more could one ask for? Hope to see you there!
Agenda:
6:15 - 6:30pm: arrival, pizza and beer
6:30 - 6:40pm: welcome and sponsors. You'll hear from FutureWorks, and Andy Reitano (Microsoft) will speak about how to take advantage of Microsoft Cognitive Services, which enables your application to interact in more human ways with natural language and image processing.
6:40 - 7:00pm: Tlacael anbd Tenoch Esparza, cofounders of Sunhouse (http://sunhou.se/), bringing you a new type of drumkit called sensory percussion.
7:00 - 7:30pm: Mike Frumin, Head of Hardware at Citibike, who will talk about their journey of making bikeshare systems for the mean streets of New York, and how we need to change everything again. Presenters include Peter Luedtke and Jacob Doctoroff, heads of product at Citibike.
7:30 - 7:45pm: Joe Hollier and Kaiwei Tang, cofounders of The Light Phone (http://www.thelightphone.com), which is a phone meant to be used as little as possible.
7:45pm - 8:30: networking and community announcements.
