7pm: Vaibhav Sagar on "Git Internals With Haskell"

Implementing a git library in Haskell is a great way of learning both at the same time. This talk will go over some of Haskell's strengths and weaknesses for this domain, and some of the concepts learned along the way that improved the development of this library.

8pm: Lightning Talks by Everyone (including You?)

This month we are opening the floor again for a round of short 5-10 minute talks on whatever strikes your fancy -- projects you have been working on, obstacles you have encountered, neat tools you have discovered.

If you would like to present slides, please have them either online or in a standard format (pdf, html) on a usb. There will be a signup sheet onsite, but people are strongly encouraged to contact the event organizers via meetup to reserve a slot beforehand (click the "contact" link at https://www.meetup.com/NY-Haskell/).

All vaguely Haskell topics and all levels of expertise welcome. If you don't have much speaking experience, this is a great way to just dip your toe in the water. It is your choice whether you want us to record and publish your talk or not.
