Built to Last, the Right Power BI Architecture

Details

Hello Everyone!
I'm very happy to announce that Reza Rad of RADACAD will be the presenter at our next meetup. Here are the details:

6PM - Food and Soft Drinks
6:30PM - Presentation

Overview:
Building a Power BI solution is one thing; keeping it working for a long time is another. If you want to build a solution that is reusable, easy to maintain, and easy to modify whenever needed, then you have to think about building the right architecture for the Power BI solution.
The right architecture includes:
• a multi-layer design of Dataflows and Shared Semantic models
• considerations of version control
• deployment pipelines, and many other things
In this session, Reza will take you through some of these features and show you how to use them in real-world scenarios.

Reza Rad is a Microsoft Regional Director, an Author, Trainer, Speaker, and Consultant. He has a BSc in Computer engineering; he has more than 20 years of experience in data analysis, BI, databases, programming, and development mostly on Microsoft technologies. He is a Microsoft Data Platform MVP for 13 continuous years (from 2011 till now) for his dedication to Microsoft BI. Reza is an active blogger and co-founder of RADACAD. Reza is also co-founder and co-organizer of the Difinity conference in New Zealand, the Power BI Summit (the biggest Power BI conference), and Data Insight Summit (Chicago, USA)

I look forward to seeing everyone.

Best,
