Workshop 1: Multifamily Passive House Projects – “The Whole Shebang” (http://naphnconference.com/index.php/event-info/conference-workshops#SatWork)
In order for Passive House to impact significantly on carbon emissions, projects must move from single to multi-family scale. Attendees will take a journey through multiple case studies, diving down into the detail and exploring the multiplicity of options available to designers – for new builds, as well as retrofits.

Workshop 2: Coulda, Woulda, Shoulda – Variants & Optimization of PHPP (http://naphnconference.com/index.php/event-info/conference-workshops#SatWork)
Learn how to integrate optimization into your Passive House Design Process to increase performance and lower costs. Attendees will learn how to use the new Variants tab in PHPP v.9, plus take a look at an alternate software service for PHPP optimization that offers simple, graphic outputs. Learn how to quickly identify key components and opportunities for improving your designs, or communicating options to clients.

Workshop 3: PHPP v.9 (IP Version) – What’s New, with a Focus on Retrofits (http://naphnconference.com/index.php/event-info/conference-workshops#SatWork)
This workshop will review all new aspects of the latest changes and new developments in the PHPP using the newest v.9 release. You will learn to work with PHPP’s numerous features with a focus for application to the building stock – before, as well as after energy retrofit – including the comparison of different design options and the development of a step-by-step retrofit plan.
