In this overview of Android development in Scala, we'll cover the standard Android SDK (https://developer.android.com/sdk/) setup, the android-plugin (https://github.com/jberkel/android-plugin) for the Scala builder simple-build-tool (https://code.google.com/p/simple-build-tool/), and the Scala source for an Android application that takes event pictures and uploads them to Meetup. Finally, we will install the application to a Droid and upload pictures of our Meetup.
