This month, GridGain is inviting ny-scala to learn about Apache Ignite straight from their CTO, Nikita Ivanov. Doors open at 6pm, and refreshments will be provided by GridGain. Please note that building security requires that guests bring ID matching the name on their RSVP.
This presentation is a live Scala coding talk full of small case studies, real examples, and interesting exercises for learning about how to do a modern distributed programming with Apache Ignite. (Apache Ignite is an open-source distributed database, caching and processing platform designed to store and compute on large volumes of data across a cluster of nodes.) https://ignite.apache.org/whatisignite.html
