RSVPs open for nescala 2013 -> Feb 8 in Philly

From: Nathan H.
Sent on: Tuesday, January 1, 2013 1:54 PM
It seems like only yesterday we hustling across the Longfellow Bridge on a freezing morning, being on-your-left-ed by a series of joggers who didn't realize how close they were to taking a cold swim in the Charles.

THIS YEAR the Northeast Scala Symposium is in Philadelphia, a city whose "brotherly love" reflects our Scala community spirit (and unfortunate gender unbalance). Philly is cradle not only to American democracy but the world's first general purpose computer, and at least the computing thing has worked out pretty well.

When: Friday February 8 & Saturday February 9
Where: Philadelphia, University City

Among its other fine qualities, Philadelphia is just over an hour by train from Penn Station. You could do it as a day trip, but we hope you'll stick around for the Saturday unconference (not to mention Friday night festivities).

RSVP on Meetup, and propose a talk on the softprops-powered
