Summer Soundwalks 2019 - Part 2: The High Line

Details
The Summer of Gruve continues as we sojourn down the High Line, which contains 3 audio/music installations extending the entire length of the park from 34th Street to Gansevoort.
The Music
West 34th Street to West 27th Street: "seven for DC casfader wandering", Jesse Stiles, composer
West 23rd Street to West 16th Street: "Train Tracks", Michael Durek, composer
West 16th Street to Gansevoort Street: "Untitled", Barbara J Weber, composer
Gansevoort Street, around the Whitney Museum of American Art: "Echoes of the 12 Shouts", Milica Paranosic, composer
The walk itself will take approximately 45 - 60 minutes, after which the group is invited to stay to discuss the soundwalk experience, either on-site or at a local venue.
Note that the timing of this walk is a little later than what we'd normally do, but we've found that the High Line is a bit more habitable in the evening hours, and the sunset ambience is much more conducive to soundwalks!
As a reminder, to experience the soundwalk you must download the U-GRUVE AR app in order to hear the music. The app is free, and is available on both iOS and Android platforms.
