Good meeting focused on the issues that I love to think about, non-profits, humanitarian work, technology, and emergency relief.

It was interesting to meet some people. Since this was my first time here, I had no specific expectations - but I was hoping for a more techie focus. The hurricane disaster recovery special focus was an interesting idea, but I don't feel like I learned anything that wasn't really obvious before (eg. these days someone can hack together a site in a day that provides a simple but useful service and gets propagated quickly - wow, what a surprise, network effects on the internet, etc... :)

Connecting people was a good thing, but a tighter focus instead of unprepared brainstorming (with some participants lacking basic facts) would be nice.

I agree with others that it could have used a little more structure in a presentation feel, but I loved the fact that a lot of people just came to be in the presence of techies (I was one of them!).

It was for a good cause, but not as interesting as usual. I missed seeing novel, technical and interesting ideas, ventures, projects...
