SPEAKER #1: JOSH SUTTON (Global Head, Data & AI, Publicis.Sapient (http://publicis.sapient.com/en-us.html))

Josh Sutton has been helping clients leverage advanced technologies to drive business transformation for the past twenty years. Most recently he has assumed leadership of Publicis.Sapient’s and SapientRazorfish’s Data and Artificial Intelligence Practice, helping companies leverage established and emerging artificial intelligence platforms to generate business insights, drive customer engagement, and accelerate business processes.

ABSTRACT #1: "How AI is Driving Business Transformation"

Josh Sutton (Global Head, Data & AI, Publicis.Sapient) will explore how artificial intelligence is rapidly becoming the driving engine that is helping large corporations transform their business lines and even industries. This presentation will cover both a pragmatic approach to identifying and exploiting AI-enabled opportunities for transformation as well as exploring the three most common high level use cases that firms are beginning to implement. The presentation will conclude with a discussion of the data and technology implications that must be considered when implementing at an enterprise level.

SPEAKER #2: NICHOLAS BORGE (Founder, Impartial.AI (https://www.impartial.ai/))

Nick is a problem solver with a decision sciences background and a passion for improving systems using AI. A management consultant of 10 years, he has worked with large multinational corporations across seven industries, 18 countries and various functions from R&D to commercial. Recently he founded ImpartialAI, dedicated to improve individuals' awareness of the full range of alternative perspectives in news media.

ABSTRACT #2: "Designing AI by Learning from Enterprise"

Nicholas Borge (Founder, Impartial.AI) will explore what AI companies and non-AI companies that are looking to leverage new technologies can learn from traditional enterprises and startups alike when designing and implementing AI. He'll also share some of his experiences in starting an AI company that is both a user of such solutions, a developer of new applications, and a challenger to established industries and model of user/information interaction.

ImpartialAI is developing AI tools to enable shared understanding. It is a competing team in the IBM Watson AI XPRIZE competition, a $5 million global competition challenging teams to develop powerful AI-based applications and demonstrate how humans can collaborate with AIs to tackle the world’s grand challenges.
