Android and Devices

Details
Sometimes your apps need to actually talk to "things" in the real world. This talk is about that. Connecting your apps to stuff in the real world!
We'll be having presentations from Kinsa, Quirky/Wink, Open mHealth, and a talk on getting started with the Glass API.
There will also be raffle prizes from Sphero, a robotic ball that you control with your smartphone or tablet.
-
Inder Singh is the Founder of Kinsa, a health tech startup building a smart thermometer that will connect to a mobile device.
-
Izzy Johnston is the Android developer lead at Quirky and Wink. Quirky has formed a new venture with backing from GE called Wink, focused on mobile apps and device interaction.
-
David Haddad is the CEO of Open mHealth, which is paving the way for data-driven, integrated, personalized healthcare.
-
Our very own Dario Laverde will be giving an intro to the Glass API for Android developers.
