Downhill skiing in Blue Mountain, PA

Let's go ski in Blue Mountain, PA.

The plan:

Leaving NYC around 10am and arrive at Blue Mountain around 12:30pm. Blue Mountain is open for skiing until 9pm. We will carpool for this event. If you need a ride post on the comments that you do. If you have a car let people know if you can carpool, where to meet you and whether you can takes skis or snowboards.

Blue Mountain is a great little mountain. It is 1000 feet of fun from top to bottom. Has a great mid mountain bar.

Plan is to meet up at the mid mountain lodge. You can drive to it. It is less busy and much nicer than the base.

Blue Mountain is on Ikon Pass. If you don't have an Ikon pass you can get a 8 hour or 4 hour ticket or night ski ticket on their website: https://www.skibluemt.com

There are rentals available at both bases or at one of the ski shops near the mountain.

I will set up a chat to coordinate the day before. It is recommended you but a ticket online the day before. Otherwise tickets are usually twice the price at the resort. Right an 8 hour ticket is about $100 and a 4 hour ticket about $60.

This is also a great beginner mountain. If you have never skied I recommend booking a lesson in advance on their website.
