## Harriman Day Hike | Dog-Friendly & Transit Accessible

We’re heading back to the trails! This will be an 8–10 mile loop through the scenic terrain of Harriman State Park. We’ll begin our adventure at Tuxedo Station.

### The Details

  • Pace: Participants should be comfortable maintaining a pace of roughly 2.5 miles per hour.
  • Flexibility: While we’re aiming for the full loop, feel free to bail out at any time if you need to.
  • Dog Policy: Your dog must be comfortable and friendly around other dogs and people.

### Getting There

  • Public Transit: NJ Transit and buses from Port Authority are convenient options. If taking the train, select the NYC – Tuxedo roundtrip off-peak ticket.
  • Driving: There is parking available at the station for those arriving by car.

### What to Bring

  • A packed lunch and snacks.
  • At least 2 liters of water.
  • Proper hiking footwear and layers.
