“Kick off New York City’s commemoration of the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States! The NYC Department of Records and Information Services (DORIS) presents a full day of programming at the historic Hall of Records as part of It Happened Here.
Stop by a one-day pop-up exhibit of rarely seen records highlighting 400 years of New York City history through items from the Municipal Archives and Library.
Registration is encouraged but not required.
Visit ongoing exhibitions:
- New Visions of Old New York (curated by the New Amsterdam History Center and DORIS),
- Windows on the Archives, and
- Revisiting the World of Tomorrow: The 1964–65 World’s Fair.
