Sheila (Shay-la) Solis-Arroyo is an NYC based Argentine tango dancer, teacher, and performer. Sheila has studied tango extensively for the past eight years. With a deep passion for this beautiful art form, Sheila creates a warm and welcoming environment for dancers of all levels. Whether you're taking your first steps or refining your technique, you'll find dedicated instruction and a supportive community where you can grow and express yourself through tango.
Sheila fosters an inclusive and affirming space for all dancers. Everybody is encouraged to investigate both leading and following roles, regardless of gender identity. Sheila teaches tango as a dialogue between partners, emphasizing connection, communication, and creativity.
