Global Artists of Growing TriBeCa, June 7th, 2025 11 AM-1PM

Dear All:

The number of galleries in TriBeCa has only continued to grow, making it one of the most important art destinations in New York City. In the last year or two alone, we have seen more art storefronts, either a new or additional location for galleries previously in Chelsea or the Upper East Side, or a first NYC location for galleries from other cities including Los Angeles.

This June, TriBeCa galleries happen to be featuring tons of shows by international Contemporary artists from many corners of the world: France, the UK, Singapore and Pakistan to name a few.

So, I thought it would be fitting to focus our next walk on Global Artists of Growing TriBeCa.

Join us as we explore and discuss works by artists from around the world in up to 8 TriBeCa galleries this June. Among these, we will look at brand new work by Salman Toor, the critically-acclaimed Pakistani artist who had his own solo retrospective at the Whitney in 2020 at only 37. We will see new works by Jovencio de la Paz at the artist's first exhibition at P.P.O.W. De la Paz integrates ancient weaving techniques with emerging technologies, yielding woven textiles designed by software and algorithms.

This promises to be a great way to get to know significant players in today's Contemporary Art world, currently represented by galleries in NYC's TriBeCa.
