On Indigenous Peoples' Day, join us online as we view and discuss Little Big Man (1970), directed by Arthur Penn and starring Dustin Hoffman, Faye Dunaway, Chief Dan George (who received an Oscar nomination), Martin Balsam, Richard Mulligan, and Jeff Corey.
Admired as one of the first Hollywood films to depict Native Americans in a positive light, this "revisionist Western" comedy/drama made quite an impression on me when I first saw it decades ago.
Come see what you think of it and share your opinion!
Note: This event will try a new format.
- Two Zoom links, plus a link to the movie, will be emailed to all registered attendees 30 to 60 minutes before the 6pm start time.
- At our first (short) meeting, there will be a few introductory remarks, then the session will end and we will (simultaneously but separately) watch the film via a free, legal, ad-supported website.
- Around 9pm, we will reconvene via the second Zoom link for the discussion. The running time is 139 minutes but extra time will be included for snack breaks (LOL) and a few commercials.

- Registration ends at 5:30pm, 30 minutes before start time.
- Sorry, no refunds unless the event is cancelled or rescheduled.
- This event was created specifically for members of my Meetup groups and private email lists, their guests, and special invitees.
- Please note that the total RSVP count includes people coming from other Meetup and non-Meetup groups. It is manually updated every 12 - 48 hours and is NOT an arbitrary number. However, also remember that "no-shows" can never be accurately predicted.
See you online!
