Machine learning pipelines for cancer detection with Precision Health AI

Join us to hear about Precision Health AI's (PHAI) unique approach to data and their analytics strategy. We'll hear from both the business and technical PHAI team members about data challenges, the importance of domain expertise in oncology analytics, and managing data science deliverables for pharma clients.

Explore how the PHAI team built out a clustering model for non-small cell lung cancer patients + deployed their OncoStage Last Stage prediction model, which stages a patient at their last known time-point, given their full medical history, as well as how they mathematically and clinically validated the model.

About our speakers:

1. Victor Wang, PHAI Director of Client Data Solutions
   >>>>> Victor Wang is a Director of Client Solutions at Precision Health AI and has 7 years of experience in a variety of roles in healthcare data. In this role, he works closely with Precision Health AI partners and Precision Health AI data scientists and researchers to shape and support the delivery of data, tools, and custom projects. Most recently, Victor created and managed the delivery of a number of solutions leveraging patient-generated data at PatientsLikeMe, working closely with partners in academia, biopharma, and non-profits to generate insight from data. Victor has been published in Multiple Sclerosis and Related Disorders and has had posters presented at multiple conferences, including ISPOR, the National Network of Depression Centers, and the American Thoracic Society.

2. Karl Rudeen, Data Scientist
   >>>>>> Karl's role includes writing queries to respond to pre-sales requests, building proprietary software for the company to use, and creating modeling pipelines. Before Precision Health, Karl got his MS in mathematics. Karl is particularly interested in the theoretical side of Machine Learning.
