The NYC Backgammon Society brings together players of all levels for curated tournaments centered around good game play, great conversation, and community.
We host bi-weekly gatherings at thoughtfully chosen venues across the city, pairing players by level and creating a relaxed but competitive atmosphere where everyone feels welcome—whether you’re a seasoned player or learning the game for the first time.
Our events are designed to be social without being chaotic, elevated without being exclusive. Players come to play, connect, and enjoy the rhythm of the game in a setting that feels intentional and fun.
At the end of each tournament, one winner takes home a handcrafted backgammon board—but the real win is the community built around the table.
