Happy New Year, all! Sorry for the late schedule, but I hope you can join us on Saturday for Yojimbo! It is Akira Kurosawa's love letter to the John Ford western, and giving it his own artful samurai spin! For those of you in the know, Sergio Leone's A Fistful of Dollars is an almost shot-for-shot remake of Yojimbo... international synergy!
I happy to announce that this screening was chosen by my amazing wingman Gerry Ruffman, who many of you have met. As ever, we will meet outside the theater 20 mins beforehand, and will head somewhere afterwards to eat/drink/discuss.
