CHRISTMAS TAVERN TOUR

What better way to enjoy the holidays than to learn about the history of Union Square area taverns, beautifully decorated for the holidays, and then stop for liquid refreshments along the way. On this tour, you'll see some of the area's most classic pubs and speakeasies -- all with historic associations. Stops include a tavern frequented by presidential contender Al Smith and New York's second oldest pub, dating back to 1864.

Fee: $30 per person cash payment at the beginning of the walking tour

Tours generally last no more than 2 hours. Please try to reserve at least two days beforehand if possible.
