NYC Educators Meetup

A casual community for NYC math teachers, tutors, and educators who want to connect with others doing the same work.

Teaching and tutoring math can feel isolating — you're often the only math person in the room, grinding through lesson plans, managing students at different levels, and figuring it all out on your own. This group exists to change that.

We meet regularly in Brooklyn to grab coffee or pizza, swap strategies, vent about the real challenges of the job, and share what's actually working with our students. No corporate sponsors, no expensive conferences. Just local educators helping each other get better at what we do.

Whether you're a classroom teacher, a private tutor, a test prep specialist, or somewhere in between — if you care about math education, you're welcome here.
