We are excited to bring you the next in-person NYC Ableton User Group meetup! As always, the meetup is open to producers, songwriters, DJs, and musicians of all types and proficiency levels looking to exchange ideas, network, meet like-minded producers, and learn new tips and tricks from our presenters and fellow participants.
This month’s Ableton User Group will be hosted by John Selway and Colin Colford.
Colin will present his unique approach to producing pop rock and alternative pop, combining analog recordings with digital sounds to create rich and authentic music. He’ll dissect his workflow inside Ableton Live, explain how he records vocals and instruments, and how he manages large projects efficiently to achieve massive, layered productions. He’ll also show how he uses Live’s powerful built-in effects to polish and enhance a live recording without losing its acoustic character.
