Chop Shop 015 NYC Party & 343 Labs Open House

The Chop Shop Sample Challenge, hosted by Great Dane, is a remix competition and live event held at 343 Labs NYC. Participants can submit their beats, receive feedback from special guest judges, and win free promo.

Highlights of the event include feedback and judging sessions and the compilation of winning beats into a mixtape on 343 Labs’ SoundCloud. This event is open to all members of the 343 Labs community.
This month we’re choppin’ up stems from Owen Why?‘s track Uno. A producer with 10 years of experience, Owen Why? crafts hard-hitting electronic music here in Brooklyn. Blending his hip hop roots with a more eclectic electronic sound, his focus is creating a unique style of production.

The Chop Shop party begins at 6:30pm with an open house where guests can check out the studios at 343 Labs and learn more about our DJ program. Then, from 7-10 PM, the event continues with a production demo, live judging and open decks. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own beverages (BYOB).
