Have you played an Escape Room before? Maybe you've played 10...50...100...1000? This is the place for you!

For the uninitiated: Escape rooms, or escape games, are exciting hour-long adventure games that take place in rooms full of puzzles and mysteries. You and a squad of people work together to find clues and solve said puzzles, to try and escape before time runs out!

#### What is this group about?

This group is for escape room enthusiasts of all levels! Whether you're a seasoned player or a total beginner, we welcome you to join us for fun, interactive experiences where we solve puzzles, crack codes, and escape before time runs out.

#### Who can join?

Anyone who enjoys escape rooms, puzzles, and immersive experiences! You don’t need any prior experience—just a willingness to have fun and collaborate with others.

#### How often do you host events?

We aim to host events at least once a month, though this can vary based on interest and availability.

#### Where do events take place?

Most of our escape rooms are in New York City and surrounding areas. Occasionally, we may organize trips to special escape rooms outside the city.

#### What types of escape rooms do you play?

We try a variety of themes, from classic mystery rooms to horror, sci-fi, and adventure-style experiences. If there’s a specific room you’re excited about, feel free to suggest it!

#### I see that I can donate to the group. What does that money go towards?

Your donations primarily go toward covering the Meetup platform fee, which costs $300 per year to keep our group active and running.

If we ever receive more than what’s needed for the platform fee, any extra funds may be used for:

  • Occasional giveaways or special events
  • Enhancing the group experience (e.g., social meetups after games)
