This group is open for singles, married people, new-in-towners, and people who have been in the tri-state area for a while and are simply looking for a new group to go out with in NYC. Membership is FREE, and you only have to be friendly and fun to join!

CELEBRATE SPRING WITH A PICNIC'N PAINT IN CENTRAL PARK. Come join us in a relaxed, creative and social setting. We will be painting in central park. No experience necessary!
Included: a pre-sketched canvas, unlimited painting materials (brushes, acrylic paints etc.) and a take home bag. No smocks so please dress appropriately. Please bring something to sit on.
What to expect:
• Step-by-step, group-oriented painting instruction, which is designed to simultaneously entertain and enlighten our members.
• We'll have a professional artist guide you through a featured painting that is yours to keep and proudly display. And don’t worry — no experience is necessary.
• 2 hour course lead that teaches you the art of mixing colors, blending and painting techniques.
• All supplies provided - 12x16 pre-sketched canvas, unlimited acrylic paint (water based), brushes, and aprons.DIRECTIONS TO FIND GROUP:
We are located in a cul-de-sac at PINETUM EAST. We will be behind this row of benches (right under the trees). If you are coming from the east side you can find us by entering Central Park on East 84th street. Walk up the ramp, cross over the road and head west. What if it rains? We will email attendees a rain date.
Can I still attend If I don't know how to paint? Yes, there's no experience necessary.
Can I come alone? Yes, about 80% come on their own.
Is this age specific? No, all are welcome.

The night consists of three rounds of different games based on different game shows. After each game you will randomly switch teams, giving you a chance to meet all of the attendees. So, put on your competitive hat and join us for a night of gaming, socializing, and winning!
How it works:
- Arrive at 6:30pm for food and drinks at the bar/lounge.
- At 7pm we will create teams of 4-5. After each round you will rotate to a new team.
- Pay as you go for food and drinks on a separate check. Please arrive early if you wish to eat. (Although you will be able to eat while playing if coming late.)
- The games played that night may be loosely based on Family Feud, Wheel Of Fortune, Jeopardy and others.
FAQs:
Can I come alone? Most come on their own. If you don't know anyone, the ice-breakers will help you meet others. Come alone or bring a friend - either way you'll feel comfortable and have a great time.How many members will be attending? This is a multi-Meetup group event. Is there a dress code? Whatever you have on from work is fine.
Ages? All welcome 21 and over. We usually get a good mix of ages.
*Limited # of tickets available for $15. Price will go up to $20 as event gets closer. No tix sold at door.

**Our events are co-organized by multiple groups so don't pay attention to the RSVPs. Our events are consistently well attended. Members get tickets and don't RSVP.
Join fellow members and guests for a fun Friday evening of adventure, socializing, and fireworks as you journey through Coney Island’s historic and modern marvels in this exciting scavenger hunt!
How It Works:
- 7:30 PM: Meet the group outside Ruby’s Bar on the Boardwalk.
- 7:45 PM: Teams are formed and the hunt begins!
- 9:00 PM: Return to Ruby’s for food, drinks, and tallying of scores.
- 9:30 PM: Enjoy a spectacular fireworks display from the boardwalk
- After: Stay for rides, games, or continue hanging out with the group
Teams will search for historic and contemporary clues in and around the boardwalk. You’ll have 75 minutes to find as many as you can.
Come alone or bring a friend. We will put you on a team with other fun people if you do not have a team. (teams of up to 6). All are welcome. Rain or shine event.
*Price starts at $20 and will go up to $25 as event gets closer (space becomes limited).
