I'm extremely sorry for last month's last-minute location change, especially to the fur who showed up at the Le Pain Quotidien thinking we were still meeting there; the NYFurs folks organized a furwalk through Brooklyn's Prospect Park that afternoon, and as that park is one of my favorite places on Earth I couldn't resist joining them.
However, May's meet-up WILL be held at our traditional LPQ location!
You probably all know the details by now, but if any newbies are checking this out, here's the skinny: we meet on the second Saturday every month at 1:00pm in the at the Le Pain Quotidien Restaurant at 85 Broad Street in the Financial District (on the right side of the building). The place is 2 blocks away from Bowling Green and walking distance from several subway lines as well as the Staten Island Ferry.
Bring anything you'd like to share: books, art (SFW only!), sketchbooks, games (I usually bring my Scrabble set), furry memorabilia - even your normie friends to seduce into the furry lifestyle! And please feel free to wear your tail, or if you'd like, your entire fursuit! (There's a big plaza behind the building and a bunch of restaurants with outdoor tables nearby, so you'll definitely have an audience to strut your furry stuff!)
