At the moment, it's uncertain if the post-meet-up trip to see Bad Guys 2 will be taking place, so take the below information with a grain silo of salt: (And just to avoid any confusion, our 1pm meet-up is def'ly on!)
How about a meet-up and a movie?! Ty Wolvington is hosting our own "Bad Guys 2" movie excursion to follow our next monthly get-together, Saturday August 9 at 1pm, as always at good old Le Pain Quotidien, around the side of the office building at 85 Broad Street. (BTW, LPQ is now open until Saturdays until 6pm, giving us an extra hour of camaraderie. Bring anything you'd like to share with other folks: games, comics, souvenir-y type stuff, etc.
...unless you want to leave earlier to catch a certain movie...

I have to say I've been going on some fun public fursuit walks recently (Brooklyn Bridge,* Central Park and this last Saturday at Coney Island) courtesy of New York Furs (nyfurs.org) - so bravo you guys, def'ly fun going public suited up with my fellow weirdos!
*A few months ago I heard from Taji Ameen, a former vice.com producer who wanted to do a video about furries. I checked out his online videos to make sure he wasn't going to do a hit piece, but they were all respectful & if anything, made fun of himself as a clueless visitor. I invited him to join us on the Brooklyn Bridge fursuit walk & here's his video of the event:
