HALLOWEEN TIME FURRY-BRONY MEET-UP!
Details
SPECIAL SURPRISE - SEE BELOW...
Wish I could hold an actual Halloween party, but it's way too early in the month. (Then again, they used to start selling Halloween candy after Labor Day, but now you can find all the "Fun Size" bags on the shelves in the middle of August.) But what the hell, bring your suit or any part of thereof to the meet-up - tails in particular are always welcome! (If you want to go full suit, there are private bathrooms in the restaurant to change in and a big plaza behind the building with a bunch of restaurants with outdoor tables nearby, so - if you dare - you'll definitely have an audience to strut your furry stuff!)
As always, we meet at the Le Pain Quotidien Restaurant at 85 Broad Street (on the right side of the building as you face its entrance) in the Financial District.
The place is 2 blocks away from the Bowling Green 4 and 5 train station and equally close to the South Ferry "R" train station, not to mention walking distance from the Staten Island Ferry terminal.
Bring anything you'd like to share: books, art (SFW only!), sketchbooks, games (I usually bring my Scrabble set), furry memorabilia - even a normie friend or two to seduce into the furry lifestyle! If you want to suit up, there are private bathrooms in the restaurant to change in and a big plaza behind the building and just across the plaza a bunch of restaurants with outdoor tables , so you'll definitely have an audience to strut your furry stuff!) If you order food at the restaurant be sure to leave a nice tip for the waiter - he's a cool guy (and I think he's used to us by now).
The food at LPQ is excellent - not too pricy but def'ly more expensive than a fast food joint. If you're travelling on a budget, there's a pizza joint and several other eateries across the plaza. (Just don't bring your slice into LPQ, kinda rude as they're in business to sell their own food.)
Now about that surprise: I had lapel pins made up of my popular skunk character, "Mister Airwick." He's a mischievous little charmer with a deceptively pleasant scent...that turns you into a skunk if you happen to inhale it!
Everyone who shows up gets a Mr. Airwick pin; those who don't show up get nothing, good day sir!
See you then, snap-snap!
