Spread those wings and join the flock with NYC Gay Improv.

In this 8-week class, you'll learn and perform Murder Flock, an original long-form improv structure created by Howdy Stranger. Murder Flock combines CROW with flocking techniques. In improvisation, flocking is a form of group movement where performers move together as one, mimicking each other to create a visually striking, fluid ensemble. It emphasizes responsiveness, physical awareness, and deep team connection.

In Murder Flock, characters travel in groups called “flocks,” each sharing the same energy, quirks, and outlook on life. But when one member migrates away, they face a series of unexpected scenes that could change them forever. Will their reunion shift the entire flock dynamic, or will the group pull them back into the fold? Find out as we follow several flocks through the adventures of life.

It's theatrical. It's thrilling. It's Murder Flock! (Prerequisite: Improv Level 1).

Join fellow students after class at Rise Bar, one block away from the studio. Improvise, then socialize, with NYC Gay Improv.
