Sheep Meadow Picnic in Central Park

Greetings gents,

Let’s welcome the warmer weather with a relaxing spring picnic in Sheep Meadow in Central Park! Bring your favorite vegetarian or vegan lunch, a picnic blanket, and your sunny spirit for a casual afternoon in the park.

We’ll meet at 11:30 AM on Saturday May 3rd in the northern corner of Sheep Meadow, under the tree shade, which is across the walking trail from Le Pain Quotidien. Look for a cluster of friendly faces and picnic blankets — we’ll mark our area with a "VEG" sign to help you find us. This is a laid-back outdoor event, perfect for connecting with other gay vegetarian/vegan men in a scenic and social setting. Expect good conversation, sunshine, and a relaxing vibe. Everyone will bring their own lunch, water and utensils/plates. DO NOT share food or utensils. (Please see safety note below.)

In addition to the nearby Le Pain Quotidien, there is Whole Foods Market at Columbus Circle, plus many restaurants you can buy food from in that area, if you don't want to prepare it yourself.

Note this is on a Saturday, since some people may have church activities on Sunday. I will monitor the weather forecast and make announcements if there is any change. Looking forward to seeing all of you soon!
