If you didn't know, there is a Chelsea gallery scene - a premier global hub for contemporary art, featuring hundreds of galleries, primarily located between 10th and 11th Avenues from West 18th to 28th Streets. It offers a mix of blue-chip powerhouses and independent spaces, making it free, walkable, and ideal for viewing large-scale installations.
ABOUT THE EVENT:
Thursday night is THE time for art, featuring multiple new exhibition openings, receptions, and open doors. We will do a "gallery crawl" to a few galleries where we can social, view art and grab a (free) wine or two.
