Join us for a free kayaking program that provides an opportunity to get out on the water, experience the Hudson waterfront from a different perspective.

**This is first come, first serve, so please arrive by 5:00pm to ensure we can all get in the water. Kayaking opens up at 5:30pm.**

You will need to sign a waiver. They have print copies at the boathouse but you can preview the waiver here.

No previous kayaking experience is necessary, but you must know how to swim. Volunteers will give basic paddling instructions, help select and adjust your life vest, and assist you getting in and out of a kayak safely from our floating dock.

Once you’re on the water, you must stay within the boundaries marked by buoys between the piers, come back after you’ve paddled for 20 minutes, and follow any instructions from our volunteers.

You will likely not get wet but light clothing is best.
