Over time, it becomes a learned response to emotional friction and short-term relief, making delay increasingly automatic.

While the 30-minute introductory workshop explains the mechanics of the procrastination cycle, this small-group deep dive focuses on why the cycle becomes chronic and what actually keeps it running over time.

In this 90-minute workshop, we will:
• Revisit the procrastination cycle and how it becomes reinforced
• Explore different types of discomfort — fear, boredom, overwhelm, and uncertainty — and how they lead to avoidance
• Examine system-level factors that make procrastination more likely, including stress, anxiety, low mental energy, sleep quality and difficulty sustaining focus
• Map your personal procrastination patterns, habits, and triggers
• Introduce practical ways to begin interrupting the cycle

Short guided workshop exercises are included throughout so you can apply the material privately to your own situation.

You will leave with:
• Greater clarity on why your procrastination persists
• Insight into the emotional and energy patterns sustaining it
• A simple diagnostic framework you can apply when the urge to procrastinate appears
• Practical ways to begin interrupting chronic delay

This is not a motivational talk. It is a structured, psychology-grounded session focused on understanding persistent procrastination patterns.
