NYC Guitar School Silent Studio Open House - Learn, Jam, Connect

Come celebrate the launch of NYC Guitar School’s brand-new Silent Studio at our Midtown location! This is your chance to tour the space, try out the gear, jam with fellow musicians, or dive into a One Day Song Lab.

What to expect:

• A welcoming community of music lovers and players of all levels
• Free Silent Studio Tours at 5:00, 5:15, 5:30, 5:45, and 9:00pm
• Free Drop-in Jam Sessions with NYC Guitar School Rock Band teacher Vin Demasi from 6:00–7:30pm
• One Day Song Lab (6:00–9:00pm) for intermediate/advanced guitarists and vocalists of all levels, featuring “Rebel Rebel” by David Bowie. Includes Silent Studio rehearsal time, level-based breakout classes, mixed-instrument rehearsals, and a group performance on the NYCGS stage. ($50, with discounted rate for NYC Guitar School Annual and Rock Band members.)
• A chance to test out pro gear—digital mixer, wireless headphone system, electronic drums, amp modelers, and more. No need to bring your own instrument—we provide everything!

What’s a Silent Studio?
It’s a sound-isolated room where musicians rehearse using amp modelers and digital instruments feeding to a headphone mix instead of amps—so everyone hears a perfect mix. It doesn’t replace the traditional rehearsal studios we all know and love—it’s just a different, fun, and super-focused way to jam!
