Forest Hills Gardens Tour With a Special Visit to See a Unique Art Collection

THERE IS LIMITED REGISTRATION FOR THIS EVENT.

AS ALWAYS, I ASK THAT IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN ATTENDING THIS EVENT AND WOULD LIKE TO GO THAT YOU READ THE INFO BELOW BEFORE YOU RSVP BECAUSE THERE IS LIMITED REGISTRATION.

I consider this a members appreciation event. I will NOT accept any monetary contributions on this one.

I may not be able to add everyone who sincerely wants to attend. I will probably do this more than once if there is enough interest.

This event will most likely NOT be announced to all members. I have to limit the group size to around 18-20 members because of the nature of the event. No guests please. Unfortunately I will NOT add any first timers.

The wait list for this group does NOT operate in a conventional way. Those on the wait list will NOT be moved to the going list automatically. DISREGARD MEETUP'S ATTEMPT TO CHARGE MORE TO GAIN WAITLIST PRIORITY-THAT IS NEVER NECESSARY FOR THIS GROUP.

I want to primarily reward those members who have supported this group in the last year.

Strong priority will be given to those members who have attended at least one event (and hopefully more) within the last 12 months with few cancellations. I will NOT add any members who have never attended an event before with this group.

Join us on a comprehensive tour of Forest Hills Gardens, a private, planned community which is adjacent to Forest Hills, Queens. I have led tours of the Gardens twice for the Guides Association of NYC. This event will be even better. As a special bonus, we will visit the apartment of the longest tenured member of this group to briefly view his art collection of primarily NYC street scenes and photos. This person claims that he has the best collection of NYC paintings and photos that you will ever see in one place. I can’t say if that’s true or not.

I am also going to ask that people NOT post any comments or questions prior to the event. You have more than enough information to do this once you get the meeting details. No offense, but I don’t need to know-and probably neither does anyone else- what you are doing that day if you can’t make it or what you think the weather will be. AFTER the event, post as many comments and photos as you like. Please respect my wishes on this.
