Tribeca Art Gallery Hop & A Bit More!-Members Appreciation Limited Registration

This event will NOT be announced to all members.

ONLY RSVP AFTER YOU HAVE READ THE DESCRIPTION OF THE EVENT CAREFULLY AND ANY COMMENTS I POST. I CONSIDER THIS A MEMBERS APPRECIATION EVENT.

THIS GROUP DOES NOT USE THE WAITLIST IN A CONVENTIONAL WAY.THOSE ON THE WAITLIST WILL NOT BE MOVED TO THE GOING LIST AUTOMATICALLY. I do NOT believe that the Meetup waitlist works well for a number of reasons. The waitlist will start at one for this event.

IF APPLICABLE, ALWAYS JOIN THE WAIT LIST WITH LOW PRIORITY WHICH IS FREE. IF THERE IS A WAITLIST, IT APPEARS MEETUP WILL ASK YOU IF YOU WANT TO JOIN MEETUP + BUT IN SMALLER LETTERS AT THE TOP OF THE PAGE YOU CAN CLICK CONTINUE WITH THE FREE PLAN. There is NEVER a need to pay extra to use Meetup's High Priority wait list classification for this group.

AGAIN, THIS IS A MEMBERS APPRECIATION EVENT. It is VERY unlikely I will add any members who have never attended an event before with this group.

I WANT TO REWARD NEWER MEMBERS WHO HAVE ATTENDED EVENTS AND OTHER 2025 REGULAR ATTENDEES FOR SUPPORTING THIS GROUP. WE ARE THEREFORE GOING TO GIVE VERY STRONG PRIORITY TO THOSE MEMBERS WHO HAVE ATTENDED AT LEAST ONE EVENT AND HOPEFULLY MORE IN 2025 WITH FEW CANCELLATIONS.

THERE IS LIMITED SPACE ON THIS EVENT.

I WILL NOT ACCEPT ANY MONETARY CONTRIBUTIONS ON THIS EVENT EVEN IF YOU TRY TO FORCE YOUR MONEY ON ME!

NO GUESTS ON THIS ONE.

OF ALL THE EVENTS THAT THIS GROUP CONDUCTS, THE GALLERY HOPS ARE PROBABLY THE EVENTS I HAVE THE MOST FUN ON. And modesty aside, I consider myself a comic genius so there's also that to fall back on!

FOR MANY, MANY YEARS I HAVE LED NUMEROUS ART GALLERY HOPS IN CHELSEA AND OTHER NEIGHBORHOODS INCLUDING TRIBECA. THEY ARE ALWAYS FAST PACED, FUN AND A BIT INSANE. We are NOT going to visit as many galleries as we do in Chelsea and therefore this hop won't be as manic as it usually is-but it will still be interesting and fun (and slightly manic). The gallery hops we do are especially appealing to those who might have the attention span of a fruit fly-there was one flying around in my apartment a couple of summers ago- but you can always go back to visit a gallery on your own for a more in depth view. And that's why we do this.

I did not know Tribeca was home to so many art galleries-until a number of year ago. Many galleries are migrating there from other neighborhoods.

If you have been on past gallery hops with this group, you will know that they are fast paced and a lot of fun. We will visit a number of select galleries but this event will be a little more than that. In addition to visiting a number of galleries, we will also see a few sites that I think are interesting and unique along the way. (Photo by Arabelle)
