Join us on a fun, relatively fast paced 3-4 mile hike from Riverside Park to the Hudson Yards on West 34th Street on a Friday evening. (Photo by Mila) We will finish not too far from Penn Station and the #7 train.

Riverside Park was actually designed by different people throughout the years. It is very narrow and will afford us some fine views of the Hudson River. Although I will provide some commentary it will be limited. However, to amuse myself, every once in a while I may say things that I think are very funny although you may not think so. This is a hike which is especially scenic at the beginning and hopefully at the end but is gritty in the middle!

I am going to ask that people not post any comments or questions prior to the event. (Please just respect my wishes and don't do it.) You have more than enough information to do this once you get the meeting details. No offense, but I don’t need to know-and neither does anyone else- what you are doing that day if you can’t make it or what you think the weather will be. AFTER the event, post as many comments and photos as you like.

If the weather forecast is really bad, I will post a notice on the day of the hike by 1:00 P.M. If there is no notice, we go.
