NYC J-1 Interns & Trainees is a community for interns, trainees and exchange visitors from around the world who want to meet new people and make the most of their time in New York.
Whether you just arrived or have been here for a while, everyone is welcome. The goal is simple: make friends, explore the city together and connect with people who are having a similar experience abroad.
We’ll organize casual meetups like after-work drinks, picnics, coffee meetups, food nights, neighborhood walks and other NYC activities.
No awkward networking or formal events — just good people from around the world enjoying New York together.
Coming alone? Absolutely. Most of us arrived in NYC not knowing many people either.
