Learn to build APIs using Node.js and then build a hybrid mobile app using the Ionic framework (HTML/CSS/AngularJS/Apache Cordova) that consumes the APIs in this all-day, hands-on developer workshop, sponsored by Apigee.

Whether you're a seasoned developer or not, this workshop will cover everything you need to know to start building APIs and hybrid mobile apps -- including a crash course in Node.js, and a crash course in AngularJS for those that need to get up to speed. And even though the workshop is focused on developing a hybrid app, everything learned in the workshop regarding API consumption can be applied to native (Obj-C, Java, C#), .Net, Ruby or traditional web development as well.

This is NOT a sales or marketing workshop - in fact, everything we use is free and open source! The goal of the workshop is to give back to the community by providing attendees with a basis of knowledge to get started with API-driven app development, regardless of skill level.
